Giorgio Torregrosa

Giorgio Torregrosa is a computer scientist and aspiring security researcher studying at UCF, where he is completing a Computer Science major with minors in Physics and Mathematics. In his final undergraduate year, he maintains a 4.0 GPA while working full-time as a SOC analyst at a cybersecurity firm and part-time as a math and programming tutor. His goal is to leverage his coursework in AI and software engineering alongside his hands-on security experience to advance threat intelligence automation and detection. His academic foundation in algorithms and system design, combined with professional experience, has built his proficiency with tools including Splunk, Python, Nessus, MISP, and Burp Suite. As he prepares to transition into UCF’s Computer Science Master’s Program, he continues expanding his expertise through daily work in enterprise security operations, as detailed in his portfolio.
